Superb - albeit hardly used- nor worn! - WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' being a non-maker-marked example as executed in multi-coloured 'Feinzink' as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'A. Rettenmaier'
This is an attractive - albeit I deem hardly worn and/or very detailed and pronounced! - example of a so-called: WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' (or: destroyers'-war-badge) being a (typical) non-maker-marked- (but nevertheless truly 'high-quality'-produced!) example that is executed in typical, zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued- and I deem hardly worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge retains most (ie. all!) of its golden- (ie. silver-) coloured finish and is executed in so-called: zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink'): it comes, naturally mounted onto its unaltered- and/or functional (thin-shaped) pin and/or typical catch (set-up). The with certainty fairly 'high-quality'-produced badge was - I deem - never cleaned nor polished: it is just a tiny bit dusty ie. dirty as recently found (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows all characteristics as to be expected for a by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') 'Alois Rettenmaier'-produced naval war-badge. I deem that this nicely preserved WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen' is with certainty accordingly priced!
