Unusually seen, commemorative DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as issued to commemorate the: 'DAF Aufmarsch am 6. u. 7. Juni 1936 - Gotha'
This is an attractive - and actually unusually seen! - DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'-) related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was issued to commemorate a specific DAF-gathering named the: 'DAF Aufmarsch am 6. u. 7. Juni 1936 - Gotha' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in golden-bronze-toned- and - I deem- typical tin-based metal - shows the DAF-device (ie. cog-wheel) above a towns'-scenery and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The circular-shaped and somewhat larger-sized badge (having an approximate diameter of 4.5 cms.) is totally void of a makers'-designation and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive, DAF-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
