Neat, beige/white-coloured- and/or linnen-based armband (ie. 'Armbinde') as was executed in the 'thicker-styled' fabric as was intended for WH (Heeres) staff-members working as: 'Hilfs-Krankenträger'
This is an attractive example of a beige/white-coloured- and/or typical linnen-based armband (ie. 'Armbinde') as was executed in the 'thicker-styled' (linnen-based) fabric as was intended for the various medical- ie. WH (Heeres) staff-members working as: 'Hilfs-Krankenträger' (or: assistant brancard-carriers) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit minimally used- and/or worn-), condition. The armband which shows the interwoven, black-coloured text on a beige/white-coloured- and/or linnen-based (and fairly 'roughly'-textured) cloth comes in a full-length condition and measures (folded) approximately 39 x 10 cms. in length. The piece is void of an ink-stamp (which is not unusual) and shows some wear and/or slight staining simply caused by storage and/or moderate wear. The armband on offer here is a nice example of the neat 'weave'-technique as was employed by the TR-period, cloth-producing companies such as the 'BeVo'-company of Wuppertal and is actually not that easily encountered. Simply an attractive example of this armband that is accordingly priced!
