Superb, pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type (ie. This is a very attractive - fully matching and just moderately used but nevertheless truly rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period, so-called: 'M36-/M40'-pattern-, neatly 'cyphered', NCO-'summer-type'-shoulderstraps (being of the model as specifically intended for the 'Gebirgsjäger-Windjacke') as piped in the green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der Gebirgsjäger-Truppen u. Mitglied der Gebirgsjägerschule' (or: sergeant who served within the army mountain-troops-related training-school as was based in the town of Mittenwald) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 14,1 cms. in length and that are truly 'broad-shaped' as to be expected - have the 'standard-type'- and/or greenish-tan-coloured, linnen-based 'upperdecks'. They show they bright-silver-toned, NCO-braid attached and do show a pair of (matching, Gothic-styled, larger-sized, bright-silver-coloured and/or aluminium-based) so-called: 'S'-cyphers (or: 'Ziffern') and a pair of (equally-styled) pips, period-attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). The straps show the (darker-green- ie. 'grüner'-coloured) woolen-based piping (that shows some minimal damage) and do show moderate age and wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which come mounted onto their functional tongues - show as stated above moderate usage and/or wear (some staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-pattern, WH (Heeres) shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'fairly rare' even more so when they are specifically produced for usage onto the specific 'Gebirgsjäger'-type, protective '3/4-model' jacket ie. rain-coat (or: 'Gebirgsjäger-Windjacke'). This neat pair originates from an older 'Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive and/or: early-war-period, neatly 'cyphered' and/or 'Heeres'-related NCO-type 'Windjacke'-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der Gebirgsjäger-Truppen u. Mitglied der Gebirgsjägerschule'!
