Rarely seen - and fully matching! - pair of very early-period- (ie. 'Reichswehr'-era), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered', EM-type shoulderstraps, as executed in neat 'rib-cord'-like linnen as was intended for a: 'Soldat des 7. (Bayer.) Artillerie-Regiments'
This is an attractive - fully matching and actually rarely encountered! - pair of (I deem) very early- (ie. 'Reichswehr'-) period, 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps having the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or 'woolen'-type piping attached as was executed in neat field-grey-coloured- and/or: typical 'rib-cord'-like linnen as was intended for - and with certainty used by! - a: 'Soldat des 7. (Bayer.) Artillerie-Regiments' (or: simple soldier who served within the Bavarian artillery-regiment numbered: '7') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used, worn- and somewhat moth-damaged-), condition. The straps - which measure 11,7 cms. in length each - are fully 'text-book' in all facets and are executed in the ('Reichwehr'-era type-) HBT-like (ie. 'rib-cord'-like-) linnen, having the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured piping attached (that shows some damage). Both straps show some honest - albeit fair - wear and/or age: some staining and/or wear is present and noticable. Both shoulderstraps show the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei') '7'- numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') which are executed in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured wool as to be expected. The straps come mounted onto their functional tongues. Simply an attractive - and with certainty rarely encountered! - 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Soldat des 7. (Bayer.) Artillerie-Regiments': only the first such rare shoulderstrap-pair in this artillery-related branchcolour I ever had on offer!
