Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in darker-blue-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann u. Arzt' who served within the: 'Sanitäts-Truppen'

The attractive WH (Heeres) pair is piped in the typical darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann u. Arzt' (ie. captain and medical-doctor) who served within the: 'Heeres-Sanitäts-Truppen' (or: army-related, medical-troops). The pair was most certainly issued and worn as such but comes, nevertheless, in an overall nicely preserved and/or fully untouched, condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat 'sub-dued' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected for a 'Heeres'-related shoulderboard-pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 12 cms. in length each - show a matching pair of the neat (golden-toned, I deem 'Buntmetall'-based- and/or regular-sized) so-called: 'Aesculapus'-cyphers and four (identical and equally golden-toned) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of: 'Hauptmann u. Arzt der Sanitäts-Truppen'. The straps never had any tongues attached and were clearly intended for (and used as) a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern: they still show some thread- ie. stitching-remains (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps do only show some moderate age and/or wear and are truly void of any damage or alike. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair came with a set of (silver-toned and 'pebbled-atyled', regimental shoulderboard-buttons that show the numeral: '9'. This pair originated from a small lot of 'cyphered' shoulderstraps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all 'cyphered' boards are quite hard to find. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive, officers'-type, Heeres shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for a: 'Hauptmann u. Arzt' who served within the: 'Sanitäts-Truppen'!
