Attractive - and not that often seen! - Dutch WWII-period-, police- (ie. 'Schalkhaar Politie') side- (ie. visor-cap-) cocarde (ie. 'Schiffchen-Kokarde') as was specifically used on the black-coloured, Dutch-police-related head-gear
I recently uncovered two - fully identical and actually not that often seen! - examples of the Dutch WWII-period-, police- (ie. 'Schalkhaar Politie') side- (ie. visor-cap-) cocarde (ie. 'Schiffchen-Kokarde') as was specifically used on the (black- ie. darker-blue-) coloured, Dutch-police head-gear and that come both in an overall very nicely preserved- (ie. 'virtually mint ie. unissued'- and/or never cap-attached-), condition. Both pieces - which are executed in nickle-chrome-based- and neatly silvered metal - show a red-, white- and/or blue-coloured enamelled centre - and come mounted onto their specific 'dual-prong mounting' (which is fully preserved and functional as can be seen on the pictures). The pieces are totally void of any marking. My asking-price is naturally intended for a single example. Simply a nice opportunity to acquire a neat - and not that often seen! - Dutch WWII-period cap-cocarde that was intended for usage by the Dutch-based 'Schalkhaar Politie'!
