Clearly tunic-removed WH (Heeres) trade- and/or special career insignia ie. hand-embroidered signal-blitz (being a neatly maker-marked example as executed in white) as was intended for a soldier serving within the: 'Infanterie-Truppen'
This is an attractive example of a so-called trade- and/or special-career insignia (ie. 'Signal Blitz') as was executed in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour, as intended for a 'signals-operator' (or: 'WH-Nachrichtenpersonal') ie. soldier within the: 'Infanterie-Truppen' (ie. infantry-troops) that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly worn and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The patch is neatly hand-embroidered on darker-green-coloured wool and shows no defaults whatsoever: it was clearly once tunic-attached and still shows some stitching- ie. thread-remains. The 'Blitz' is white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and was as such intended for an: 'Infanterie'-soldier. The patch - which shows a (clearly present) stamped makers'-designation that reads: 'G&H' on its back as more often - shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining. This example is additionally 'backed' with greyish-black-coloured linnen as more often seen. Simply an attractive - and clearly used! - 'Signal-blitz'!
