Superb - and fully matching! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the 'karmesinroter'-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Generalsstab- o. Veterinär-Truppen'

The very attractive shoulderboard-pair - which is truly a 'text-book'-pair in all facets and that measures approximately 11 cms. in length each - shows the (very scarcely seen!) darker-pink- (ie. 'karmesinroter'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for usage by a junior-officer who served within the: 'Generalsstab- o. Veterinär-Truppen' (ie. staff- or veterinarian-troops). The pair comes in a wonderful (ie. 'virtually mint'- and/or - I deem - never tunic-attached-), condition. The boards - which show truly 'smooth-woolen'-based- (ie. 'moleskin'-like) 'backings' - never had any devices, pips nor cyphers attached (the boards were as such thus intended for a junior-officer ie.: 'Leutnant'). The boards show fairly 'sub-dued'- and/or minimally tarnished 'upperdecks' and come mounted onto their (typically smaller-shaped) tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). The pieces - which were presumably issued but were I deem never worn - come as stated above in a 'virtually mint' condition and just show some storage-age only: it will be very hard to upgrade this pair (as can be seen on the pictures). Hard to find a more attractive, general-staff- ie. veterinarian-troops-related officers'-pattern shoulderboard-pair for a more interesting price!
