Single - but nevertheless scarcely seen! - 'Ostvölker'-related, 'Luftwaffe'-type shoulderstrap showing the black-coloured piping (and having a pair of horizontally-mounted rank-stripes 'off-factory'-attached)
This is an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - bluish-grey-coloured- and so-called: 'Ostvölker'-related, 'Luftwaffe'-type shoulderstrap showing the neat black- (ie. 'schwarzer') coloured and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached and having a pair of horizontally-mounted rank-stripes 'off-factory-attached and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem never used ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 9,5 cms. in length - is constructed by using a 'standard-pattern', WH (Luftwaffe) 'Pioniere o. Bautruppen'-related- and/or so-called: M44-pattern, enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap (having the bluish-grey-coloured 'upperdeck') that shows a pair of horizontally-mounted rank-stripes (constructed from silver-coloured NCO-braid) period-attached. I deem that these rank-stripes were with certainty 'off-factory' attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat strap was with certainty intended for a soldier ie. volunteer that belonged to one of the various 'Ostvölker'-related airforce-units. These foreign troops belonged to the (welcome and much needed!) allies of the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'. The neat strap on offer here was truly never used and is void of any real damage nor wear: it just shows some minimal storage-age only. Simply an attractive - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - so-called: 'Ostvölker'- (ie. 'Luftwaffe'-) related shoulderstrap that is with certainty accordingly priced!
