Neat, air-raid-warden service-medal second-class (or: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe') being a clearly maker- (ie. '60'-) marked- and/or typical 'regular-weight'-example as was executed in typical, greyish-silver-toned zinc (ie. 'Feinzink')
The attractive - and typical 'regular-weight' - award came together with its somewhat shortened (non-confectioned, pre-folded- and approximately 18 cms.-sized) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and comes in an overall very nice- (albeit issued- but I deem never mounted nor worn-), condition. The medal - that shows the clear makers'-designation: '60' stamped into its (aluminium-based) ring - is a typical example that was produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Katz & Doehle' as was based in the town of Pforzheim. Both award and ribbon do show some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage but do retain great pronounced detail without showing any defaults whatsoever. Simply an attractive example of this air-raid-warden service-medal second-class (or: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe') that will be truly hard to be upgraded and that is accordingly priced!
