Neat - and nicely 'BeVo-woven'-like - Dutch WWII-period, labour service ie. 'Nederlandse Arbeidsdienst' (or: NAD) cap-badge entitled: 'Ick Dien' and that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition
I recently found four - fully identical! - examples of the attractive (and nicely 'BeVo-woven'-like!) Dutch WWII-period, labour service ie. 'Nederlandse Arbeidsdienst' (or: NAD) cap-badge (ie. 'Mützenabzeichen') entitled: 'Ick Dien' and that come all four in an overall very nice- (ie. never cap-attached- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The neat cap-badges - sized: 5 x 3 cms. - are excuted in golden-yellow-coloured linnen on a typical bordeaux-red-coloured (and also linnen-based) backing and show the NAD motto: 'Ick Dien' (which stands for: 'I serve') and a spade. This service was mainly under the influence of the Dutch pro-German Party, the NSB (or: 'Nationaal Socialistische Beweging'). The four badges that show all four an interwoven numeral ('5317') and that came as 'straightly cut-off the role' can simply not be upgraded. My asking-price is naturally intended for a single specimen. Simply a neat occasion to acquire a very attractive - and actually not that often-encountered! - Dutch collaborationist-item for a reasonable price!
