Fully matching - and scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Offiz. des Ingenieurskorps der LW') as intended for usage by a: 'Flieger-Ingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Leutnant')
This is a truly attractive - fully matching and actually scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Offiziere des Ingenieurskorps der LW') having the typical bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour and bright-silver-coloured 'upperdecks' as was intended for usage by a: 'Flieger-Ingenieur' (being a rank similar to: 'Leutnant') and that comes in overall very nice- (and - I deem - never used- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The boards - which measure approximately 11 cms. as more often - are executed in the neat smooth-like (ie. 'moleskin'-type) wool and were simply never used nor tunic-attached. The pair - that has very bright- and shiny 'upperdecks' as to be expected - shows some minimal age- ie. staining caused by decades of storage only (as can be seen on the pictures). These 'pink-coloured' LW-boards as intended for staffmembers of the 'Ingenieurkorps der Luftwaffe' are quite hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a very attractive shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Flieger-Ingenieur'!
