This is a very attractive - regrettably single but with certainty very rarely encountered! - white-piped, so-called: 'Reiter-HJ' (ie. 'HJ-Streifendienst') ('Hitlerjugend') shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'HJ-Kameradschaftsführer' who was attached to the: 'Bann 851' (being a 'Bann' for which I could NOT find any reference!) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The strap - which is executed in black-coloured linnen having the white-embroidered '851'-numerals and white-coloured- (and typical rayon-like) piping attached - comes mounted onto its period-attached tongue as found (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is void of a paper-based 'RzM'-etiket: I deem it never had one (something that is more often seen). The strap shows some normal age and wear and measures approximately 11 cms. in length as usually encountered. It, morover, seems that the piece had also once a 'çypher' (or numeral?) attached: something that can be deducted from the present tiny holes (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows a single (silver-coloured and/or aluminium-based) pip attached, denoting the rank of: 'HJ-Kameradschaftsführer'. Simply an attractive - and most certainly very rarely encountered! - youth-related 'Reiter-HJ'- (ie. 'HJ-Streifendienst'-) shoulderstrap that might need further investigative work and that is priced according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
