Superb - fully matching and scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) - I deem - mid-war-period- (ie. This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) NCO- (ie. 'M43'-pattern) shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for an NCO (ie. 'Feldwebel' or: sergeant ie. senior medical-orderly) who served within a: 'Heeres Sanitäts-Abteilung' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The straps are just moderately used and/or worn and do show some minimal wear, age and/or staining but are void of any (real) damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show the desirable darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured- and/or 'silk-like'-type piping and measure approximately 11,6 cms. in length each. The pieces show the 'standard'-pattern (somewhat shiny) silverish-grey-coloured, NCO-braid attached and come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows a neat pair of (identical, regular-sized and/or: typical aluminium-based) so-called: 'Aesculapus'-cyphers and equally styled, regular-sized pips period-attached denoting the NCOs rank of: 'Feldwebel' (or: sergeant and/or senior-medical orderly). The pair is constructed from the typical field-grey-coloured wool and is with certainty a: 'standard-issued'-pair. These type of shoulderstraps are of the typical mid-war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1941/1943 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). This particular pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered'-shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'cyphered', 'Sanitäter'-related NCO-type 'Heeres' shoulderstrap-pair: I deem that I priced this attractive pair according to its nice and untouched condition!
