Commemorative, tin-based- and/or: bright golden-toned (I deem) N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' depicting an eagle-device resting on an upward-positioned sword and that is entitled: 'Gautag - Karlsruhe - 16.18. IV 1937'
The neat day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in bright golden-coloured- (ie. tin-based) metal: it shows hardly any wear nor age and has been truly nicely preserved. The shield-shaped badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' depicts eagle-device resting on an upward-positioned sword and that is entitled: 'Gautag - Karlsruhe - 16.18. IV 1937'(as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is very detailed and retains most of its fairly bright and/or: minimally tarnished golden-coloured finish. It should be noted that all N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply a neat - and not that often seen! - N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
