Attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type, dual- (ie. bright-red/darker-blue-) piped shoulderboards as was specifically intended for an: 'Oberleutnant der Reserve der Flak-Artillerie-Truppen'
This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type, dual- (ie. bright-red/blue-) piped shoulderboards as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant der Reserve der Flak-Artillerie-Truppen' (or: reserve lieutnant first-class who served within the airforce, anti-aircraft-troops) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately worn- and/or clearly tunic-removed-), condition. The neat pair is piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour and does, moreover, show a secondary, bright-blue- (ie. 'kornblumenblauer'-) coloured branchcolour attached: as such, it was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant der Reserve der Flak-Artillerie-Truppen'. The boards are fabricated in the neat 'smooth'-like- (ie. 'moleskin'-type-) wool and come mounted onto their typical (smaller-sized-, officers'-type) tongues. The boards have the bright silverish-coloured (ie. somewhat shiny) 'upperdecks' and measure both approximately 10,4 cms. sized in length. The pair shows some normal (albeit very minor) moth-damage, staining and/or age, simply caused by moderate wear ie. storage for decades. The set - which is as stated above fully matching! - shows a pair of (golden-toned and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) pips period-attached, denoting the officers-rank of: 'Oberleutnant der Reserve' (ie. reserve lieutnant first-class). Simply an attractive and desirable, LW-officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that originated from a private-household in Germany and that was never before part of a collection. I deem that I have priced this attractive 'Oberleutnant der Reserve der Flak-Artillerie-Truppen'-shoulderboard-pair accordingly!
