Superb - and presumably Dutch-produced! - example of an NJS- (or: 'Nationale Jeugdstorm'-) related breast-badge (being an attractive and hand-embroidered example that was presumably intended for officers'-usage)
This is a very attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - example of an NJS- (or: 'Nationale Jeugdstorm'-) related breast-badge (or in Dutch language: 'NJS-borst-embleem voor officieren') being an attractive and detailed, hand-embroidered example that was presumably intended for officers'-usage and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- (and I deem only minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The attractive badge - which is executed in (bright) silver-toned braid on a typical, darker-blue-coloured- and/or felt-woolen-based background - measures approximately: 7,8 x 5,2 cms. shows an upright-positioned, flying sea-gull-device (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was presumably worn ie. once tunic-attached but comes in a truly very nicely preserved condition without showing any defaults: it is neatly backed with a piece of brownish-coloured carton (as can be seen on the pictures). This NJS-officers'-breast-badge originates from an advanced collection of NSB- ie. Dutch collaboration-related items that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive - and truly rarely found! - NJS- (or: 'Nationale Jeugdstorm'-) related 'NJS-borst-embleem voor officieren' that is with certainty accordingly priced: only the first such neat NJS-item I ever had on offer!
