Dutch NSB-party-related, lapel-pin (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' ie. tinnie) that is executed in silver-toned- (ie. aluminium-based-) pot-metal and that is depicting the text: 'Zwarthemden-Bijeenkomst - Mobilisatiejaar 1939'
This is a very fine example of the - actually not that easily encountered! - silver-toned- and/or light-weight- (aluminium-) based lapel-pin (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' ie. tinnie) depicting the text: 'Zwarthemden-Bijeenkomst - Mobilisatiejaar 1939' and sub-titled: 'Ik roep hen, die zijn't vaderlant ghetrouwe tot in den doet' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- and/or clearly worn-), condition. The pin on offer here - which comes in a shield-shaped format - shows an illustration of a bell and is showing the text: 'Zwarthemden-Bijeenkomst - Mobilisatiejaar 1939': moreover, is it sub-titled with the (old-Dutch) text: 'Ik roep hen, die zijn't vaderlant ghetrouwe tot in den doet' - comes mounted onto its period pin and has a nicely preserved age-patina and is totally void of any real damage or alike: it was never cleaned and was worn and after that stored as such for decades. This piece originates from an advanced collection of NSB- ie. Dutch collaboration-related items that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a neat example of this NSB-related lapel-pin that is accordingly priced!
