Superb, commemorative N.S.K.K.-related plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Auszeichnungsplakette') showing an N.S.K.K.-eagle-device and text: 'Motorbrigade Niedersachsen - Niedersächsische Burgenfahrt - 26.04.1936'
This is a very attractive - and with certainty not that often- ie. most certainly scarcely encountered! - golden-bronze-toned- (and light-weight and I deem nicely 'Cupal'-based!) so-called: N.S.K.K.-related commemorative-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Auszeichnungsplakette') showing a detailed and pronounced castle ruine and N.S.K.K.-eagle-device and text that simply reads: 'Motorbrigade Niedersachsen - Niedersächsische Burgenfahrt - 26.04.1936' and that comes as stored for decades and that comes in an overall wonderful and truly nicely preserved, condition. The neat - medium-sized- and/or light-weight-piece (having an approximate diameter of 6,0 cms.) has truly pronounced detail and was never cleaned nor polished: it has maintained a neat typical, golden-bronze-toned- and somewhat 'frosted' age-patina (but also shows some minimal tarnish as can be seen on the pictures). The back of the medal shows a (hard-to-decypher) engraved text (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece came as issued and/or stored for decades. These attractive (I deem) semi-official - N.S.K.K.-related presentation-pieces were presumably used as some sort of awards and were (presumably) handed-out during a specific N.S.K.K.-related 'castle'-tour (named: the 'Niedersächsische Burgenfahrt' as was held in the year 1936). Simply a very attractive and with certainty unusually encountered table-medal ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Auszeichnungsplakette' that might merit some further investigative work!
