Commemorative, N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' being a non-maker marked example depicting a detailed viking-ship and swastika and showing the text: 'Gautag Weser-Ems in Oldenburg - 29.-30. Mai 1937'
The neat - and with certainty not that often seen! - N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge (ie. 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' or 'tinnie') is a non-maker marked example depicting a detailed viking-ship and swastika-device and showing the text: 'Gautag Weser-Ems in Oldenburg - 29.-30. Mai 1937'. The badge is executed in (somewhat darkened) copper-toned zinc- ie. pot-metal and shows some normal wear and/or moderate age. It comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The medium-sized- and circular-shaped piece (having an approximate diameter of only 3,8 cms.) is totally void of a makers'-designation. Simply a great occasion to acquire a N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge ie. 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for a justified price!
