Fully matching pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for uage by a: 'Leutnant eines Nachrichten-Abteilung o. Regiments'
This is an attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as was piped in the neat bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for a: 'Leutnant eines Nachrichten-Abteilung o. Regiments' (or: lieutnant who served within an army signals regiment or unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. never worn- nor used- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type, 'Nachrichten'-shoulderboards and have the greyish-silver- (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-) 'upperdecks'. The boards show the desirable bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelbener'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the 'smooth-type' wool as to be expected). The boards come mounted onto their functional (smaller-sized) tongues which are (unusually) executed in field-grey-coloured wool (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length each as more often. The pair - which never had any 'cyphers' nor pips attached - does show some minimal age and/or staining simply caused by years of storage only. Simply an attractive shoulderboard-pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant eines Nachrichten-Abteilung o. Regiments' and that is impossible to be upgraded!
