Attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely seen! - WH (Luftwaffe), 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel der Flg. o. Fallschirmtruppen u. Mitglied einer Kriegsschule'
The attractive - regrettably single albeit still fairly scarcely encountered! - WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstrap is piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour and shows the desirable, rayon-type piping attached as is more often seen. The strap - which measures approximately 10,2 cms. in length was clearly used ie. worn and originated from a private-household in Germany (it never had a tongue attached and was cleary used as a strap of the 'sew-in-pattern' as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows a neat, Gothic-styled- (and aluminium-styled) so-called: 'KS'-cypher and single (zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based) pip period-attached denoting that the NCO who wore this strap held the rank- ie. function of: 'Feldwebel der Flieger o. Fallschirmtruppen u. Mitglied einer Kriegsschule' (or: sergeant and member within one of the Luftwaffe war-schools). The straps show the regular-styled, LW-type NCO-braid attached and is constructed from (typical) LW-officers-type cloth (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap was - as stated above - clearly worn and used and does show age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that all LW-type, 'cyphered' shoulderstraps can easily be graded 'scarce' and are not that often offered for sale. Simply an attractive and neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Feldwebel der Flieger o. Fallschirmtruppen u. Mitglied einer LW-Kriegsschule'!
