Bright-golden-toned - and most certainly usually seen! - so-called: 'Schiesspreis des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' depicting a mountain-like scenery coupled with the text: 'Kreisschiessen Reutte 1943'
This is a neatly bright-golden-toned, zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based - and most certainly not that easily encountered! - typical, circular-shaped- and/or medium-sized, so-called: 'Schiesspreis des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' depicting a mountain-like scenery (and shooting-target with swastika-device) coupled with the text: 'Kreisschiessen Reutte 1943' and that comes in a most certainly issued- and/or moderately worn, condition. The shooting-award is - I deem - a typical example that was issued by the: 'Standschützenverband Tirol-Vorarlberg' and was issued at a locally-held shooting-event that was held in the (Austrian) town of Reutte in the year 1943. The badge - which is totally void of a makers'-designation as more often - comes naturally mounted onto its (fully functional- and/or totally unaltered-) pin- ie. pin-catch set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). This attractive example has an approximate diameter of 4,4 cms. and shows some (golden) paint-loss (mainly on its back): it originates from a German private-household and was never before part of a collection. It should, moreover, be mentioned that these attractive shooting-related prices- ie. badges were awarded (in similar form and/or model) from 1940 onwards and are actually not that commonly encountered. I deem that I did price this attractive example of a: 'Schiesspreis des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' commemorating a shooting-contest named the: 'Kreisschiessen Reutte 1943', accordingly!
