Attractive example of a WH (Heeres) so-called: 'Jäger'-armbadge, being a neatly machine-embroidered- and/or multi-coloured version as was executed on darker-green-coloured wool
I recently uncovered a complete bundle holding ten - fully identical! - examples of the WH (Heeres) so-called: 'Jäger'-armbadge being all ten neatly machine-embroidered- and/or multi-coloured specimen as executed on darker-green-coloured wool and that come all ten in an overall very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- and/or never tunic-attached-), condition. The pieces show an additional 'backing' which is made-out of thin-shaped linnen (as can be seen on the pictures). The badges on offer here were simply never issued nor used: they came still period 'tied-together' and just show some minimal age ie. storage-staining only simply caused by having been stored as such for decades. These decorative (arm-)badges were worn on the right-upper-sleeve by the troops that were attached to the various 'Jäger'- (ie. rifle- ie. infantry-related-) regiments (being some sort of mid-war-period, infantry-related units). My asking-price is naturally intended for a single example. Simply a nice occasion to acquire such a neat 'Heeres'-armbadge for a competitive price!
