Attractive - and scarcely found! - early-period- and silver-toned- (ie. tin-based) day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as was issued to commemorate the: '1. Gau-Parteitag Hamburg - Parteigründungsfeier Hamburg - 23.2.34 - Vereidigung d. Polit. Leiter - 25.2.34'
This is a truly attractive - and with certainty scarcely found! - early-period and/or bright-silver-toned- (ie. I deem tin-based- and/or nicely silvered) N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as was issued to commemorate the: '1. Gau-Parteitag Hamburg - Parteigründungsfeier Hamburg - 23.2.34 - Vereidigung d. Polit. Leiter - 25.2.34' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit with certainty issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in typical silverish-toned pot-metal (ie. zinc) - shows great detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat larger-sized- and oval-shaped piece depicts a detailed illustration of the towns-shield of the city of Hamburg upon which a swastika-device is placed coupled with a hand (denoting an oath-taking ceremony for newly appointed 'N.S.D.A.P.-Politschen Leiter') surrounded by the above-mentioned text. The badge - which is totally void of a makers'-designation as can be seen on the pictures - comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. Simply an attractive and scarcely found, N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' that is I deem accordingly priced!
