Commemorative, presumably DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeits Front'-) related 'tinnie' being a non-maker marked example depicting a scale, anvil and swastika and text: 'Handwerk - Handel - Gewerbe - Hamburg - 23.3.34'
The neat - fairly early-period and with certainty not that often seen! - presumably DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeits Front'-) related 'tinnie' is a non-maker marked example depicting a scale, anvil and swastika and is surrounded by the text: 'Handwerk - Handel - Gewerbe - Hamburg - 23.3.34'. The badge is executed in (somewhat darkened) copper-toned pot-metal and shows some normal wear and/or moderate age. It comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The medium-sized- and round-shaped piece (having an approximate diameter of only 3,7 cms.) is totally void of a makers'-designation. Simply a great occasion to acquire a DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeits Front'-) related day-badge: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for a justified price!
