Neat - albeit regrettably single - 'cyphered'- (and I deem mid- ie. later-war-period-) WH (Kriegsmarine) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Soldat eines Küsten-Artillerie-Abteilungs'
This is a truly attractive - albeit regrettably single - neatly 'cyphered'- (and I deem mid- ie. later-war-period pattern-) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for usage on the field-grey coloured navy-style tunics as worn by a: 'Soldat eines Küsten-Artillerie-Regiments' (or soldier within a coastal-artillery unit) and that comes in an overall nice (albeit I deem slightly used ie. worn-), condition. The strap - which is fully 'text-book' in all facets and that measures approximately 10,6 cms. in length (and has a width of 5 cms. as usually seen) has a darker-green-coloured- and/or smooth-woolen-based 'upperdeck' and comes naturally mounted onto its functional (albeit somewhat 'simplified'- and thin-shaped- and linnen-based-) tongue. The strap shows the neat interwoven 'winged shell'-cypher (as executed in golden-yellow-coloured linnen) denoting the rank of simple: 'Soldat'. The strap - shows some minimal age and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that ALL 'Küsten-Artillerie' insignia-pieces are actually quite hard to encounter: those 'cyphered' examples even more so, which grades them easily as 'scarce'. Simply an attractive 'cyphered', naval EM-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage on the field-grey-coloured attire: too bad it is only a single example!
