Unfinished, hollow-back- and I deem nickle-based so-called: early-pattern, N.S.B.O. (ie.: 'National-Sozialistischer Betriebszellen-Organisation') sleeve-diamond-device (ie. 'Metall-Abzeichen für N.S.B.O.-Ärmelraute')
I recently found eight - fully identical - unfinished examples ( ie. 'Rohlinge') of the hollow-back- (and - I deem - nickle-based- and non-magnetic) so-called: early-pattern, N.S.B.O. (ie.: 'National-Sozialistischer Betriebszellen-Organisation') sleeve-diamond-device (ie. 'Metall-Abzeichen für N.S.B.O.-Ärmelraute') all eight pieces coming in an overall nice condition. The detailed - and obviously non-finished - examples (ie. 'Rohlinge') are very pronounced and were simply never finished: they all show some minimal storage-staining only (as can be seen on the pictures) but are still very detailed and/or pronounced. These examples - sometimes referred to as 'Rohlinge' - provide a nice insight into the TR-insignia-making process. These badges were (presumably) intended for usage onto the sleeve-diamonds (ie. 'Ärmelrauten') as were used by the N.S.B.O. (ie.: 'National-Sozialistischer Betriebszellen-Organisation'). It should, moreover, be mentioned that I think that not thar many of these survived. My asking-price is naturally for a single example. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive 'Rohling' for a competitive price!
