Attractive, semi-enamelled so-called: RLB- (ie. 'Reichluftschützbund') 'Amtsträgerabzeichen' (or: civil-attire badge) of the first pattern, bearing a neat makers-mark ('H. Aurich') and patent-pending- (ie. 'Ges.Gesch.'-) designation
This is an attractive example of a first pattern- (and semi-enamelled) so-called: RLB- (ie. 'Reichluftschützbund') 'Amtsträgerabzeichen' (or: civil-attire badge) bearing a clearly present (super-imposed) makers'-mark (that reads: 'H. Aurich - Dresden') and patent-pending- (ie. 'Ges.Gesch.'-) designation on its back and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The piece has a stunning (and undamaged!) blue-coloured enamelled surface and comes mounted onto its original (and functional) long-sized pin (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished and is a tiny bit stained ie. tarnished. A similar badge is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken' lapel-pin-catalogue, werein it is given the unique reference number: '5909C' and estimated value of 80 Eu. Simply an attractive and desirable 'RLB'-related item: hard to encounter a nicer example for a more interesting price!
