Interesting, bronze-toned, commemorative award-plaque entitled: 'Dem Arbeiter zur Ehr - Der Heimat zur Wehr - Philipp Holzmann - Freiburg i/B 1938' that comes as issued and/or stored for decades

This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often encountered! - commemorative, bronze-toned TR-period award-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille') showing a steel-helmet and pick-axe surrounded by the tex: 'Dem Arbeiter zur Ehr - Der Heimat zur Wehr' (and on its back showing a factory-building and text: 'Philipp Holzmann - Freiburg i/B 1938' and that comes as issued and kept as such for decades. The table-medal (that was apparently awarded for an outstanding achievement performed in the Philipp Holzmann-company based in the town of Freiburg in the year 1938) was simply never cleaned nor polished and has maintained a neat (somewhat matted-) bronze-toned age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat - medium-sized- and regular-weight-piece shows a detailed steel-helmet-device (with swastika and pick-axe) on its front and has an approximate diameter of 3,8 cms.: it has very pronounced detail as to be expected. The piece originates from a private household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades. Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - table-medal ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
