Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant u. Arzt' who served within the: 'LW-Sanitäts-Truppen'

The attractive pair is piped in the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by an: 'Oberleutnant u. Arzt' (ie. lieutnant first-class and/or junior medical-doctor) who served within the: 'Luftwaffe-Sanitäts-Truppen' (or: airforce-related, medical-troops). The pair was clearly used and was with certainty once tunic-attached and carefully tunic-removed: it comes in an overall very nice- (ie. moderately worn-), condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be hard to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The fairly 'shiny' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected with a Luftwaffe-related pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measure approximately 10,6 cms. in length each - show a matching pair of the neat (golden-toned- and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'Aesculapus'-cyphers and two (zinc-based- and somewhat tarnished) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of: 'Oberleutnant u. Arzt der Sanitäts-Truppen'. Of interest is, moreover, the fact that the cyphers were attached to the boards BEFORE they were fully assembled (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps only show some age and wear but are truly void of any damage or alike: they still show some stitching-remains of having been once tunic-attached. This pair originated from a small lot of 'cyphered' LW-straps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all 'cyphered' LW-straps are quite hard to find. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive, officers'-type, LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for an: 'Oberleutnant u. Arzt der Sanitäts-Truppen'!
