Light-blue-coloured so-called: RLB (or: 'Reichsluftschutzbund') 'Feldscher'- (ie. 'Sanitäter') armband depicting the typical white-coloured cross and showing an interwoven size-(unit-?) designation (that reads: '7')
This is an attractive example of the - actually fairly scarcely encountered! - so-called: RLB (or: 'Reichsluftschutzbund') 'Feldscher'- (ie. 'Sanitäter' or: medical-orderly-related-) armband (ie. 'Armbinde') depicting the typical (interwoven) white-coloured cross and showing an interwoven size- (or: unit?) designation (that reads: '7') and that came in an overall nice- (albeit minimally used and/or slightly worn-), condition. This band signified that the bearer was an official member of the RLB and acted as a so-called: 'Feldscher' (these bands could also be worn with the civilian attire). The armband - which comes neatly stitched-together - is approximately 39 x 10,2 cms. sized and comes in an overall nice albeit moderately used- and/or worn condition: it is just a tiny bit stained and is somewhat wrinkled (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat - and actually quite unusually enocountered! - TR-era RLB-related armband that will be hard to be upgraded!
