Multi-coloured enamelled - and truly very detailed! - shooting- ie. marksmans'-badge aka: 'Gauleistungsabzeichen 1943 in Bronze des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' (as was awarded for the pistol (ie. 'Pistole')
This is an attractive - and truly nicely preserved! - example of a shooting- ie. marksmans'-badge aka: 'Gauleistungsabzeichen 1943 in Bronze des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' being an example that was specifically awarded for the pistol (ie. 'Pistole') being a maker- (ie. 'Carl Poellath'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or medium-sized badge (having an approximate diameter of 4 cms.) is executed in multi-coloured and nicely enamelled (golden-toned) zinc (ie. 'Feinzink') and is totally void of any damage: it is void of any enamel-damage and retains a fully preserved (reddish) bronze-toned finish (just some minimal staining is visible on its back). The badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional- and fully unaltered pin- ie. pin-catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). A similar example is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given the unique reference-number: 'A61K' and wherein it is given an estimated value of 150 Eu. Simply an attractive shooting-award that is offered by me for an interesting price!
