This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty not that easily found! - pair of 'standard-issue'-pattern', officers'-type collar-tabs (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Offiziere') as piped in the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Offizier eines Gebirgsjäger Regiments' (or: officer who served within an army mountain-troops-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. moderately worn- and most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The green-piped pair - which is nicely 'backed' with brownish-beige-coloured 'buckram-based'-material as more often observed - is neatly hand-embroidered in greyish-toned- and/or silverish-coloured 'braid' (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was clearly worn and once tunic-attached: it was carefully tunic-removed and shows some truly minimal age, wear and/or staining (and a tiny moth-hole) caused by decades of storage and/or moderate wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair originates from a private household in Germany where they were recently found together with the shoulderboard-pair and Edelweiss-armpatches (which I offer under respectively the numbers 50614, 50616 and 50617). Simply a very attractive collar-tab-pair that was intended for 'Offizier eines Gebirgsjäger Regiments' and that will be hard to be upgraded!
