This is neat silver-greyish-toned- and typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based, so-called: award-plaque (or: 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille') a detailed illustration of a WH (Heeres) soldier wearing a steel-helmet and dress- ie. 'Ausgeh'-tunic (or: 'Waffenrock') and that comes as issued and/or stored for decades. The neat - medium-sized and/or regular-weight-piece - has an approximate diameter of 5 cms. and has pronounced detail as to be expected. It shows a detailed illustration of a WH (Heeres) soldier wearing a steel-helmet and dress- ie. 'Ausgeh'-tunic (or: 'Waffenrock') shows two tiny holes and was most likely used for a shooting-award or alike. The piece was never cleaned nor polished and has maintained a neat (somewhat frosted- and/or minimally tarnished) silver-toned age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - which is void of any text nor makers'-designation - originates from a private household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades (as can be seen on the pictures).
