Attractive - and scarcely found! - early-period- and bright-silver-toned- (ie. tin-based) day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as was issued to commemorate an: 'veteran-related'-gathering ie. rally entitled: 'Tag der Deutschen Soldaten - Erfurt - 2. Aug. 1933'
This is a truly very attractive - and with certainty scarcely found! - early-period and/or bright-silver-toned- (ie. I deem tin-based) day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as was issued to commemorate an: 'veteran-related'-gathering ie. rally entitled: 'Tag der Deutschen Soldaten - Erfurt - 2. Augustus 1933' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit with certainty issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in typical silverish-toned pot-metal (ie. zinc) - shows great detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The oval-shaped piece depicts a detailed illustration of a soldier wearing a steelhelmet upon which a swastika-device is placed coupled with the above-mentioned text. The badge - which is totally void of a makers'-designation as can be seen on the pictures - comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. Simply an attractive and scarcely found, veteran-related 'tinnie' that is I deem accordingly priced!
