Zinc-based, so-called: N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') being a non-maker-marked example entitled: 'Gautreffen - Gau Westfalen-Nord - 1938'
This is a zinc-based, N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') being a non-maker-marked example as was issued to commemorate a specific: 'N.S.D.A.P.-related'-gathering ie. rally entitled: 'Gautreffen - Gau Westfalen-Nord - 1938' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in (typical) silverish-grey-toned pot-metal (ie. zinc or: 'Feinzink') - shows fine detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (it is still a tiny bit dirty). The piece depicts a 'Reichseagle'-device, various smalle-sized swastika-flags and provincial-shields surrounded by the text as mentioned above. The circular-shaped badge has an approximate diameter of approximately 4,5 cms. and is void of a makers'-designation on its back (it shows, however, the superimposed text: '24.-28. Juni - Gelsenkirchen' on its back) an comes naturally mounted on its (functional) pin-/catch set-up. Simply a neat - N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie'!
