Waffen-SS-type 'Armwinkel' (or: rank-chevron) as executed on black-coloured wool as was specifically intended for usage by an SS-soldier with the rank of: 'SS-Sturmmann'
I recently found an original stack of - fully identical! - examples of the (I deem merely Waffen-SS-used-) rank-chevrons which come naturally all in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' condition: the pieces were simply never used- nor tunic-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The chevrons are executed on the 'smooth-type'- and/or black-coloured wool and each show a single stripe of the yellowish-brown-coloured (ie. tropical-style-) NCO-braid attached, denoting the rank of: 'SS-Sturmmann'. The pieces show some minimal aging, dust ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage only. The price is naturally per single chevron. It should be noted that some also deem that these particular rank-chevrons could also be used as WH (Heeres) Panzer-insignia: I personally think that they were merely produced for Waffen-SS-usage and were for example used on the camouflaged, 'M44-type-', 'Dot'-pattern tunics). It sounds maybe strange but these 'simple', 'Waffen-SS'-rank-insignia are not that easy to encounter. I deem that I have priced these (100% genuine- and/or with certainty period Waffen-SS-related items!) accordingly.
