Superb, 'Postschutz'-arm-badge (ie. arm-eagle) being a piece as executed in the 'BeVo'-weave-pattern (and that comes with a period picture-postcard of the bearer)

The attractive 'Postschutz'-arm-badge - which is executed in light-grey-coloured linnen on a greyish-coloured background and which is executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave-pattern - was clearly issued and once tunic-attached: it was neatly pre-folded- and/or trimmed and comes in carefully tunic-removed condition (it still shows some minimal thread- ie. stitching-remains as can be clearly seen on the pictures). The badge - which is executed in white-coloured linnen on a light-grey-coloured and also linnen-based background is of the pattern not showing an orange-coloured border - is approximately 10 x 6 cms. sized and was as stated above clearly issued and worn (it does show some minimal staining ie. wear): it has been neatly confectioned and pre-folded. I have seen these pieces also having a bright-orange-coloured (interwoven) border, something that can be looked-up in the archive-section of my web-site: this example does not show this border (something that might deal with the function ie. rank of the official). The badge comes with a nice - and actually equally scarcely encoutered! - period picture-postcard of an older member of this obscure TR-service. This picture - which is postcard-sized and measures 14 x 9,5 cms. - shows various neat uniform-details (including the rare PS-badge being worn). The picture shows some - hard to read text, possibly a name and is dated: '19 August 1940'. The 'Postschutz' organisation (which can literally be translated as 'postal security service') is one of the smaller TR organisations about which little is known to date: its 'political' i.e. police-related nature is also underlined by the left facing eagle. It should be noted that NOT much photgrapic evidence of this organisation has surfaced to date. Simply an attractive and unusually encountered 'Postschutz'-related arm-badge- and photo-postcard-set that is I deem accordingly priced!
