This particular example - being as stated a - non-maker-marked- zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) piece as always with these 'deep-pan'-variants - has maintained an attractive and very nice (and typical zinc-like-, silverish) age-patina and comes naturally mounted on its functional (thin-shaped- and/or silver-toned-) pin. The piece has a fully functional (and non-altered) pin- ie. catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is very detailed and/or pronounced: it has IMO been moderately used and shows some minimal wear on the obvious higher areas: it is moreover a tiny bit dirty (ie. stained) but was IMO never cleaned. The piece is IMO never polished and does still show great pronounced detail. To date the exact maker of these 'deep-pan'-variant GABs has not yet been determined. It should be noted that this is a desirable - and with certainty not that often encountered! - GAB-variant that can easily be graded 'very scarce'!
