This is a truly very atttractive - and/or fully matching and with certainty rarely seen! - pair of WH (Heeres) later-war-period, simplified-pattern so-called: 'M44'-styled enlisted-mens'-type and neatly 'cyphered' shoulderstraps as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly used by! - a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Unteroffiziersschule' (or: simple soldier ie. student who served within an infantry-related junior-NCO school) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem hardly used- nor worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the (unusual!) darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' - have the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured (and/or: 'silk-like'-type-) piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). They each measure approximately 11 cms. in length and are fully matching in style and/or execution: they are a typical, 'standard-issue'-pair. The straps (which come mounted on their functional tongues) show the neat (carefully machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'-) 'US'-cyphers (which are executed in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured wool- ie. fine-structured linnen as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was hardly (or even never) worn and just shows some minmal storage-age and/or staining as to be expected. This particular shoulderstrap-set originated from a larger-sized- and older cloth-/shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. I have a completely similarly-styled pair in my private shoulderstrap-collection and this is just the second such very interesting pair I have ever encountered. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive and with certainty desirable EM- ie. 'M44'-pattern, 'Infanterie'-related shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to a: 'Soldat der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Unteroffiziersschule'!
