Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - Waffen-SS officers'-pattern shoulderboard as was intended for - and clearly used by! - an: 'SS-Hauptsturmführer der Infanterie-Truppen'

This is a very attractive - albeit regrettably single! - example of a Waffen-SS officers'-pattern shoulderboard, having a white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured secondary branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - an: 'SS-Hauptsturmführer der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: captain who served within an infantry unit) and that comes in overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which never had a tongue and that is of the 'sew-in'-pattern - has a somewhat dull- ie. greyish-silverish-coloured 'upperdeck' and is executed in black-coloured wool and has the neat 'rayon'-type, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured, piping. The board - which measures approximately 10,3 cms. in length - shows two non-identical (regular-sized, golden-toned and/or 'Buntmetall'-based-) pips attached, denoting the officers'-rank of: 'SS-Hauptsturmführer'. (The officer who wore this board was obviously once promoted, something that corroborates the presence of two differently-styled pips). The board has most certainly been worn and shows some moderate age, usage and/or moderate staining. Simply an attractive Waffen-SS officers'-type shoulderboard in a desirable branchcolour: I deem that I have priced this neat Waffen-SS-pattern board accordingly!
