Superb - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), mid-war-period, so-called: 'M43'-styled, NCO-type, 'cyphered' shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Unteroffiziersschule'
This is a truly atttractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) mid-war-period-, so-called: 'M43'-styled NCO-type, 'cyphered' shoulderstraps as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly used by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Unteroffiziersschule' (or: sergeant first-class and possible trainer who served within an infantry-related junior-NCO school) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used and/or worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern-, field-grey-coloured and woolen-based 'upperdecks' - have the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured (and/or: 'silk-like'-type-) piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). They each measure approximately 11,5 cms. in length and are fully matching in style and/or execution: they are a typical, 'standard-issued'-pair. The straps (which come mounted on their functional tongues) have the 'standard'-pattern and/or bluish-grey-coloured- (ie. sub-dued) WH 'Heeres'-type NCO-braid attached: furthermore, does the set show four, identical (smaller-sized- and/or zinc-based-) pips and neat (also matching and actually rarely encountered- and/or equally zinc-based-) so-called: 'US'-cyphers attached, denoting that the NCO who wore this set was a senior NCO ie. 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Unteroffiziersschule'. All devices show some equal wear ie. are somewhat tarnished. The pair was clearly used and/or worn and shows the evident age, wear and/or staining as to be expected. This particular shoulderstrap-set originated from a larger-sized- and older cloth-/shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive and with certainty desirable NCO-type, 'Infanterie'-related shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Unteroffiziersschule'!
