Semi-enamelled- and bright-silver-toned 'N.S.R.L.'-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate participation within the: 'Deutsche u. Wehrmacht Ski-meisterschaften 1938'
This is an attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - 'N.S.R.L.'- (ie. 'Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was executed in semi-enamelled- and bright-silver-toned metal as was issued to commemorate participation in a specific sports- (ie. ski-) gathering entitled: 'Deutsche u. Wehrmacht Ski-meisterschaften 1938' held in the town of Neustadt-Feldberg im Schwarzwald and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit issued ie. minimally worn-), condition. The very detailed and/or pronounced badge shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished: almost all of its silver-coloured finish has been nicely preserved and the piece is totally void of any enamel-damage (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - that shows a clear makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'Schmidhäusler - Pforzheim' - comes naturally mounted on its (functional-) pin-/catch set-up. Simply a very attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered! - 'N.S.R.L.'-related 'tinnie'!
