Bright-golden-toned- and/or tin-based SA-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate the: 'Reichswettkampftage der SA-Gruppe Niederrhein' held from 28 to 30 August 1935
This is a truly attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - fairly early-period, SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungs-Abzeichen') that is executed in bright-golden-toned- and/or tin-based metal and that depicts the 'SA'-logo (ie. 'SA-Sportabzeichen') and text that reads: 'Reichswettkampftage der SA-Gruppe Niederrhein - 28.-30. Aug. 1935' held from 28 to 30 August 1935 and that was as such intended for an: SA-related gathering ie. rally held that year. The shield-shaped badge - which has an approximate height of 5,8 cms. - is totally void of any makers'-designation and comes in an overall nice (albeit issued and/or minimally worn-), condition: it shows extraordinary detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (some minimal staining is, however, present and visible as can be seen on the pictures). It comes naturally mounted on its (functional) pin-/catch set-up. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often encountered - SA-related 'tinnie' that is IMO accordingly priced!
