The attractive badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in aluminium-based- and/or silver-toned metal: it shows some minimal wear and/or moderate age. The badge comes mounted on its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has IMO never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is quite detailed and retains most of its typical, silver-coloured finish. The 'tinnie' - which is medium-sized and has an approximate height of 6 cms. - depicts a 'rounded-styled'-swastika surrounded by the text: 'Gauappell Sachsen 1936' (done in runic-styled script as can be seen on the pictures). The back of the piece shows a clearly present (and super-imposed) date that reads: '20. 22. Juni 1936' and also shows a makers'-designation ('Wächtler u. Lange - Mittweida'). Simply an attractive - and with certainty not that often seen! - 'N.S.D.A.P.'-related 'tinnie'!
