Detailed, golden-yellow-toned- and/or copper-based breast-badge (ie. 'Brustabzeichen') denoting membership within the: 'Katholische Jungfrauenvereinigung Deutschlands'
This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often seen! - golden-yellow-toned- and/or copper-based breast-badge (ie. 'Brustabzeichen') depicting a pronounced 'Rune'-like-symbol and as such denoting membership within the: 'Katholische Jungfrauenvereinigung Deutschlands' and that comes in an overall nice- (and IMO clearly used- ie. with certainty worn-), condition. The neat and detailed badge - having an approximate diameter of 3.8 cms. - is a badge of the so-called: fourth pattern and is totally void of any makers'-designation: it comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin-/catch-set-up. The piece is a tiny bit stained ie. tarnished but was (IMO) never cleaned nor polished: it retains a somewhat stained age-patina but was never cleaned (as can be seen on the pictures). A similar specimen is also depicted in the Heering-Hüsken 'Abzeichen-Katalog' wherein it is given a unique reference-number: '9346I' and an estimated value of 45 Euro. Simply a neat and with certainty not that easily encountered membership breast-badge that is IMO accordingly priced!
