Fully matching, WH (Heeres), IMO mid-war-period- (ie. 'M43'-pattern-) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-pink (or: 'karmesinroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel der Veterinär-Truppen'
This is an attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - IMO mid-war-period- (ie. 'M43'-pattern-) pair of neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps as was piped in the desirable, darker-pink- ie. crimson- (or: 'karmesinroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and/or clearly used by! - a: 'Feldwebel der Veterinär-Truppen' (or: sergeant who served within an army veterinarian-unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which are (IMO) of the mid-war- (ie. so-called: 'M43'-) pattern - have field-grey-coloured 'upperdecks' and have the neat, darker-pink- ie. crimson- (or: 'karmesinroter'-) coloured and/or: 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps show the silverish-grey-coloured- (and unusually seen and somewhat 'broader-shaped') NCO-braid attached and have a matching pair of aluminium-based so-called: 'Aesculap'- (ie. snake-type-) 'cyphers' and two (identical, regular-sized- and/or also aluminium-based-) pips, period-attached, denoting that the pair was intended for an NCO with the rank of: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). All four devices show some minimal age and/or tarnish but have been nicely preserved. The pair comes mounted on its original tongues and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should, moreover, be noted that the darker-pink- ie. crimson- (or: 'karmesinroter'-) coloured branchcolour is one of the more difficult to encounter branchcolours of the entire: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive and/or desirable WH NCO-pattern shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der Veterinär-Truppen'!
