Fully matching, WH (Heeres), IMO mid-war-period- (ie. 'M43'-pattern-) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the black-coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and/or used by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Pionier-Truppen'
This is an attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - IMO mid-war-period- (ie. 'M43'-pattern-) pair of NCO-type shoulderstraps as was piped in the desirable, black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and/or clearly used by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Pionier-Truppen' (or: sergeant first-class who served within an army engineers'-unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and regrettably 'cut-off'-), condition. The straps - which are of the mid-war- ie. so-called: 'M43'-type - have field-grey-coloured 'upperdecks' and have the neat, black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached. The pair comes (regrettably) without tongues: these are carefully period-'cut-off' (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which are regular-sized- and measure 11,6 cms. in length each - show the 'black-striped'- and somewhat greyish-coloured- ('standard'-pattern- ie. 'Heeres-type'-) NCO-braid and four (identical-, silver-coloured and/or IMO glass-based-) pips attached denoting the NCO's rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel'. The pair on offer here just shows some minimal age, wear and or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and fully 'text-book'! - M43-pattern 'Oberfeldwebel der Pioniere'-shoulderstrap-pair that is IMO priced according to its missing tongues!
